phone charging problem

Ive got a oneplus 8t, my wife had the same one which packed up so they dont seem that reliable.
Ive tried several chargers and it says its charging but it doesnt go up in value. I replaced the battery, (took bloody ages very fiddly!) but it still doesnt really go up in value - if it does then its about 1% every 30 mins.
Any ideas on what could be wrong? My wifes packed up after just 12 months and it was the motherboard.
