web chat software

Hi everyone. I'm looking for some new web chat software, I want it to be self hosted and work in PHP. We used to use LiveZilla, did everything we need but they have gone out of business & it really doesn't like anything above PHP7.4! The two packages I have found have been pants, all I want is simple chat with simple analytics. Any idea's or has that market gone thanks to all the "free" web chat systems? TIA
