Safesearch Locked On

Not sure what on earth is going on here but it seems safesearch is locked on my internet, regardless of browser or computer-



What's going on? Parental control settings within MyBT are off.

Try this. BT Web Protect is different from BT Parental Controls.

How do I turn off Web safe on BT?
How do I turn off BT Web Protect? You can turn off BT Web Protect by logging in to My BT and scrolling down to 'Manage my extras' and then selecting Turn Off in the 'BT Web Protect' panel within the 'Your included extras' page. It will take up to two hours for your service to be removed.

And then get your tug tissues out.

There is no 'manage my extras' in MyBT.

BT were meant to have sorted this after speaking to them yesterday but still no joy after being told it would take a few hours to change.

Yes have tried that, as instructed by the BT person. Will need to get in touch with them again. Will do another reboot in the meantime, worth a go.
