Anybody recommend a indoor IP camera that supports ethernet as well as WiFi?

My WiFi is mince and I don't want to upgrade it (I likes the misery) so looking to use the ethernet power adapters to provide the network connection. Reviews on Amazon seem to concentrate on the wireless models so they are a bit harder to find these days.

Looking for a price of around £30 per camera - looked at TP-Link but they seem to be mainly wireless.

Thanks in advance.

£30 isn't going to get you much.

You could use powerline adapters which also create a wifi network, that opens up the cheap wireless cameras:

Or cheap wireless access point with the powerline adapters:

The unfortunate situation is what works for some folk doesn’t work at all well for others.

Especially with powerline adapters, it generally accepted that the more powerline nodes you use the more unstable the devices will be.

It also will depend on the number of & location of the cameras in question.

There’s also the relative importance you place on the feed from the cameras, many thieving scrotes go equipped with wifi ‘jammers’ these days.

What are you looking to achieve?

Edit: re reading if it really is a single internal camera, get a pair of powerline adapters from Amazon & test how stable they are, if they are not then you’ve got 14 days to return them.

Reolink were my normal recommendations for cctv at the budget end but I believe that they are around £50 starting price these days.

Thanks for assistance.

I have cheapy IP cameras that have both WiFi and ethernet ports. The app to access is no longer supported so I need to replace them. I am already using powerline adapters to deliver the ethernet connection and this works great. I just need a replacement model that is decent and support ethernet which appears to be rare these days.

Also not wanting the subscription services (ring etc). I fully appreciate that this is what makes them longer term support but I am happy replacing them every 6 years or so when they are no longer supported.

Thanks in advance.

(they also do wireless too)

For residential reolink. If you want to go to something a bit more professional (and will require a nvr) then dahua or hikvision.

Hikvision - Ignore the faff about Chinese spying on you. CCTV shouldn't be active internet facing anyway.
