Personally I'd steer clear of the random branded stuff, stick with something like Anker or Belkin, you'll pay a bit more but it'll last longer.

Agreed. All the new chargers and even cables I buy are Anker now. I was fed up of things not working properly and cable quality not being great.

Flea-market tat is never the bargain you think it is. You may get lucky and end up with a good piece but don't count on it.

I've got two of these which look rather similar to yours, and I've had no issue with them (yet!).

In the background the electronics negotiate a charging speed between them and in cheaper cables the data pathways are missing, meaning you get minimum charge speeds. Also, the electronics fail more readily in the cheaper units, resulting in the same result.

The one linked is 33W max, so you won't get a high output on the QC port at the same time as drawing a decent load on the remaining ports.

Yep, spec says 33W max. If just the std USB ports were running at their individual max it would be 3x 5 volt @ 3.1amps = 45.5W

Two things - cables, and devices. Try a decent cable (not the cheapest ste Amazon will sell you) and also throughly clean out the port on the device with a wooden toothpick/cocktail stick. There's probably a load of lint and dust compressed in the bottom.

Also, charging speed is controlled to some extent by the device. Not sure what devices you have but some devices don't support high speed charging at all, and others may limit it depending on battery condition etc.

IKEA do a range of chargers, they seem well built and at good prices.
