GPU 2060 Super issues

It's been a horrendous week as my son's PC crashed and we've been juggling builds ever since. Finally bought a new MB but now his 2060 Super is broke.
Of the 3 ouputs only 1 DP is working and the other DP and the HDMI don't. Tried reinstalling drivers etc without success. Tried it in my PC and still no luck.

Maybe whatever caused the MB to go pop, also damaged the GPU? Maybe the PSU is also faulty?
Does your son need more than a single monitor connected?
An AMD RX6600 is about £250 and delivers about 20% more FPS at 1080p/1440p.
If it's definitely just a failing GPU:
RTX2060 - £260
RX6600 - £245

Thanks. He has tapped up his grandparents for £1200 so he can buy a new one. I'm just trying to fix the 2060 so I can use it.
Only problem I have is CPU without internal graphics. Damn the old me trying to save 30 quid.
