I have some old IP cameras (Yatwin I think) and they work with an iPhone app called EyeCloud. New phone is Android and I can’t find that on the play store.

Is there a universal app I can use, or am I forced to get new cameras to continue to use them on the new phone?

Thanks in advance.

If they are onvif compatible try https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net....

if not and you can find their RTSP address just try an ip camera app any will no doubt work.

Thanks - but I'm a bit lost - is that going to work without a new firmware on the camera? Seems like it's more local lan stuff than remote which I need.

Well onvif is a standards for ip cams, and if compatible they will just be found by the onvif app.

If not you will need to find the rtsp stream if available for your model of camera and use an app to load that into. RTSP is just a stream protocol and will work locally or remote.

I've found the Eyecloud app on an aternative to the Android Play store:

https://m.apkpure.com/eyecloud/vstc.eye4zx.client

Is it sensible to try and use this or is it wiser to only use apps from the official play store?

Thanks in advance.
