A little help please. Previously in Firefox you could "manage cookies" and select/delete only the ones you wanted to. Now it seems Firefox has been "improved" by removing this option and nuking the lot is the only choice available.. Although I regularly clear cookies, sometimes I prefer to keep certain ones so I dont have to spend ages logging into websites again. Is there a way to restore this function? Thanks.

You still can just click on each cookie in the entry and delete what you want...

I also use superantispyware free to scan and delete adware tracking cookies.

As I said in the first post, the manage data option is no longer there.

I've still got the 'manage data' option. If you tick the 'delete cookies' box, does it bring up the 'manage data' part?

What version of Firefox are you running and on what platform? Those icons and the "More from Mozilla" look nothing like recent releases which look like this (image is from Firefox help pages - can't upload an image myself, it seems broken).

It's there by default. It's not there for you because you are using some extension / script or broken about:config setting that means you can't see it ..

Firefox 109.0 on W10. Good shout about addons. I will go through them in case one is causing the problem,
Nope, deactivated the lot and deleted a few without success. Any ideas what could have been buggered in about:config?

Best guess - given the odd icons - would be something left over from a previous version is preventing Settings loading properly.

Go to Help / More Troubleshooting Options. Do the three options top right from the bottom up.

If it works OK in troubleshooting mode it's something you've installed or changed.

Refresh Firefox creates a new profile (or clears the existing) so make a list of add on's etc. before doing that.

If not of those work I think you need to uninstall / reinstall.

That worked many thanks. Now all my bookmarks are double spaced and drop off the bottom of the screen. I remember this issue from a couple of years ago, but cant remember how I fixed it now. biggrin

Finally fixed bookmarks after creating a Chrome folder and new .css file. What a ballache.
fk knows why they thought double spacing bookmarks was a good idea.
