A very specific Surveymonkey question

I've been given some surveymonkey export data which has been 'tidied up'. And by tidied up I mean the time/date of completion has been removed (among other bits). It's very much been round the houses so I have no previous versions to restore and no way of getting the original download. Long story, don't ask. But the survey would have been open for months so I'm intrigued whether I can see a trend in responses changing over time.

My question is, for those of you have have used surveymonkey's export function to csv/xls, what order does it download the responses in? I wonder if it uses the time/date stamp by default so that all the individual responses were in date order?
