International post. Royal Mail cyber attack
Discussion
I can find very little about this, but The Post Office and Royal Mail have been closed to all international outgoing mail for over a week. It must be something serious to warrant a total shut down for that long, and seems to be almost completely lacking in publicity.
Does anyone know what is going on?

Not sure what news sources you use but it was all over the BBC News website. There was even a "breaking news" alert on the front page when it happened.

Three weeks on, and the international service is still massively disrupted. That seems to be a pretty serious cyber attack.
It's pretty normal if you have to rebuild everything. Happens to quite a few companies with varying degrees of publicity.During COVID some just blamed "supply chain issues and COVID" for blips in manufacturing...
They said that they had resumed international services as of Monday 30th.
Had important docs to send to Ireland, bought the postage online as instructed, £8.75, and dropped at local Post Office in London.
6 days later and it's made it to Milton Keynes??
FFS!
I should have daytripped to Dublin on Ryanair.
If they can't offer the service, why are they charging full price?
