We use this at the moment and have just moved house, and the 4g signal is poor

Does anyone know if there is a way to improve the signal? A booster of some kind?

Thanks

You can buy bigger chunkier devices which work with a 4g SIM card. I presume these have a better antenna and therefore get a better signal. 15 seconds ebay search -

Poynting external antenna ( I found directional better than the omnidirectional - but a little more fiddly to setup ) and a 4g router.

Which "EE 4G Wi-Fi dongle" are you using?

Depends which you're using, but a decent 4G router would probably help - the Huawei B818 is still well regarded...not sure too many have seen improvements on that with external antennae.

I use a Huawei router with an external directional antenna and it works okay.

If you are using a mi-fi type device then that won't be great.
