google account - delete 1 of 2 profiles?

any google experts here. I've been round the f
king houses with this ing company. long story short I had a yahoo youtube account that I wanted to transfer to a google account. That's finally been done and I've now got it as a google account.
In the process somewhere I made a spare 'profile' CoolHandsLondon1 as there's lots of weird st about transferring from 1 owner to another / brand accounts etc and I didn't want to lose my original channel.
Anyway, didn't use this so now I want to delete it. For the love of God can I do so? round and round in circles. Anyone know how you do it. I can't even remember how I created it
