Cheapest data in the US, travel.....

I'm in New Orleans for 2 weeks in Feb. What is the cheapest way of obtaining data there? I have a MiFi aircard unlocked and am on EE for my phone contract.
EE will be expensive. I've sen 3 sims which I can roam with 12Gb data in the US. Anyone used these with success?

I'm going to the USA later this year, and will simply buy the Roam Further pass. You appear to be able to add it and remove it at any time, which means it will cost me £11.40, and I can then simply use my inclusive minutes for everything.

Doesn't seem particularly excessive - £11.40 is certainly a very small drop in the cost of my trip.

I've used the Three Prepaid Data Sims for years and never had an issue.

Don't bother with the 24gb option if you want it for Roaming, both the 12gb and 24gb one's give you 12gb when roaming:

FWIW, I've never got close to using 12gb when travelling in the US (or anywhere else for that matter), free WiFi is widespread so most of the time I used that (with VPN).

Exactly this, when travelling to the US, I just activate the appropriate EE add-on for the month and enjoy all my UK data allowance

I hadn't realised it covers all data too.
