Lenovo Chromebook - Google Search issue!

Hi everyone. I recently got this Lenovo Chromebook to replace a failing old laptop.
The problem is when using Google Search, and using the "remove suggestion" option, they are not being removed!
Really happy with the Chromebook overall, but not at the prospect of having an ever increasing list of searches that I can't remove in Google Search...!
Any thoughts please?

How long is that happening?

I suspect that's more a Google inc. issue, than an issue with your device.

Where are you initiating the search from?
(e.g. the browser omnibar, the Google homepage, or the system search bar which pops up from the bottom shelf)

Only noticed it for the first time last night, when using the Google Search box in the middle of the screen.

I've had a play with some of the settings and the issue has gone...., but it might have been a glitch with Google as apposed to anything I did...!
