Printing photos on slate

Daughter's boyfriend had a photo of the wife and I on a piece of slate. Great present was wondering how they do it and what kit do you need ?

It would most likely be through sublimation inks and a heat press. You buy the slate with a special coating where you want the image, print the image using an inkjet with special sublimation inks ontp special paper, and put all under a heat press.

As already posted loads of Print places will print a photo onto slate.

You can also use "mod podge" to do it yourself if you want to get all "crafty".
