Looking to change from my generic gaming chair. Looking for peoples recommendations on what to get.

Herman miller seems to be the good but expensive option.

So whats peoples thoughts?

Love my secret lab Titan, sit in it for several hours a day and not had a problem for the last 2 years. It looks as good as new still as well, very little wear.

Couple of recent biiiiiig threads on this exact topic. After reading one of them I got a secretlabs omega and it's bloody amazing. I'm not a teen, and it doesn't look like I have a car sim seat in my lounge :-)

P.s. I used to have a Herman miller and found it hurt my back.

I've got a Herman Miller Verus. Best seat for my back I've ever had. Well made as well.

Very personal choice this, even more than monitors.

Definitely have to go and sit in a few.

Go to an ergonomic furniture shop, sit in a few, see what you like.
Talk to people in there about proper seating positions and adjustments.

If its too expensive, see if you can find the same in an office furniture seconds shop.
Herman Miller chairs of all models are a dime a dozen in the office seconds places near me and depending on the condition, about 50% off.

I got a RH400 new from an ergonomic furniture shop in 2006. It's had 2 replacement seat bases and arm pads because they wore out.
Honestly think the chassis of the chair will last a lifetime, its so well made, so they are good investments as well. Everything is replaceable and you can buy parts separately. Definitely worth thinking about the lifetime of the chair as well.
