Facebook in landscape mode Samsung tablet

I've got the latest Samsung tablet, something Ultra. I always use it in landscape mode.

Last week, the Facebook app switched to portrait mode. I cannot get it to display in landscape. It worked fine for months, suddenly stopped. All other apps autorotate fine.

I found an app called Rotation Control, which forced Facebook into landscape mode.

Today, that app no longer forces Facebook into landscape mode.

I've uninstall and reinstalled both apps, and rebooted the tablet, to no avail.

In desperation, I tried using Facebook in Chrome, but it will only let me run the mobile version of Facebook, which is poor.

The Facebook app still runs in landscape on my smaller Huawei tablet, no proble.

Runs in Landscape on my Samsung S8 Ultra, so it should work.

Maybe another app on my tablet is messing it up?

I'll try a factory reset.

Open your main tablet settings menu.

Then search for 'rotat' in the search bar at the top.

Check each of the settings which come up below it for anything specifically related to the FB app.

Or do yourself a favour for the new year and delete the FB app altogether...
