3d modeling software for Mac recommendations?

I'm looking for some recommendations for 3D modeling software for Mac.

I want to create some flooring plans for my house (along with dimensions) that can I can use to model various room layouts as well as sharing with kitchen / heating designers etc.

Many moons back, I used to use Google Sketch Up (when it was free), but I'm hesitant to sign up for the new subscription, if there are any other decent opensource or shared developed software out there.

Can you not use the old and free sketchup you already have? Or do you need new features? If not, try Blender. I've not used it personally but there are a million YouTube videos detailing its use. Seems to be something of a standard out there.
