Thinking of these for a gift for my ageing parents to keep them warm. Bit of a novelty I know, but any recommendations?
Thanks

I bought my brother one from amazon. There are so many different brands which look like they are the same thing with a different name.

This is the one I bought and just got a standard 10000mah power bank:

I actually bought the same one from Amazon and a powerbank, Mrs has it on now, along with the central heating and a wrap over……

Couldn’t see the link in the Amazon app to the powerbank but this is the title:

Portable Power Bank Chargers 10000mAh, High Capacity External Battery Packs 2.4 A 2 Ports with USB Type C

Edited to add it’s a small fit, I wish we’d got a bigger size than what she normally wears.

I've bought a couple of no-brand Chinese ones in the last year. Paid around £30 each for them (without power pack)

The ones I have work well. They are warm, not hot, so won't heat you up but will keep you comfortable if you are sat around in the house.

The biggest issue is sizing. Chinese brand sizes are a world of pain and don't really have any consistency other than they are all smaller than expected, so you will need to go up at least one and probably two sizes (ie, if you are normally a Large, go for XL at least, probably XXL will be better.

I didn’t get one in the end as Amazon couldn’t deliver pre Xmas and I’m still stumped with ones which cost £30-100 price range

Many seem to be average finish from China etc.

Yes this is very baffling, would rather not buy off Amazon, the sheer quantity of similar options is putting me off. Surely there must be a current gap in the market for someone to stock and sell loads of these

I came across these
https://sportsengineer.co.uk/products/heatpro-body...

But it looks similar to the cheaper Amazon or wowcher £10-20 ones as looks to be a foil interior finish!

Only one part branded one I found was Regatta but minimal size options and low feedback

A couple xmas's ago (maybe 3?) I bought my other half a heated gillet from Ororo. She absolutely loves it, best thing I have ever bought her apparantly, she has worn it alot, and its been machine washed dozens of timesand still looks as good as new. They have expanded their range to jackets, fleeces etc. Would definately recommend them, though they are a bit more expensive than the stuff off amazon.
