That's a whole different kettle of jam.https://www.lindy.co.uk/audio-video-c2/extenders-c...
We used those on the boats, albeit VGA extenders. Worked a treat.
If running cables to the loft is a pain as said on your other thread you might just be able use the web interface on the nvr.
Are you using a mesh wifi system? If so you could move a node into the loft & connect that to the nvr, this opens up the possibility of viewing the cameras on tablets & phones, in or outside the home as well as on a browser on your smart tv.

I've just tried it with a spare 50m cat5 cable and it works but will only do 1920 x 1080. Would a cat 6 enable me to do 2k or 4k?
Quite possibly, I don't know which one you purchased but the first Amazon hit lists the following spec:1080P@60Hz HDMI signals up to 230ft (70m) over Cat 5e cable
4K@60Hz HDMI signals up to 130ft (40m) over Cat 6a/7 cable
4K@60Hz HDMI signals up to 115ft (35m) over Cat 5e cable
So you can see the additional bandwidth makes a difference (which is not the case with gigabit LAN traffic). Be aware of the difference between Cat 6 & Cat 6a cable & connectors.
