Something like this for the wireless transmission bit?
https://www.amazon.co.uk/BW-Wireless-Transmitter-R...

What does the camera actually output in?

Look at FPV transmitter and receiver packages. They are common, small, 12v, and powerful. Much much smaller than what you've linked.

You are going to need something to received the digital signal from the camera and output it as a video signal. Like you said, and NVR will do that.

Cam - NVR - video emitter (powered by 12v wall plug) .......

Receiver - car head unit.

The receiver could be powered by your head units trigger , or, via a switch.

I used to play around with this stuff all the time and you can easily get cables to make it plug and play.

NB UK legal limit is 25mW... just saying as a disclaimer!!

Also if you have never used this stuff before make 100% sure you never power it on without an antenna connected. It will fry itself before you realise your error.

Yeah - all that kind of stuff. I used very expensive ones from the USA when I started with FPV (before it became widespread) - there wasn't much choice, plus, it HAD to be small and light, and, the USA ones are, as mentioned above, way more powerful. I flew my drone over 1km away and still had good signal.

You don't need to worry about size of the transmitter.

btw - I'm curious why you would want to see a near-by camera feed in your car? :-)
