iPhone 14 pro contract deals?

Anyone took one out recently, I’m not sure what to do at the mo, I’ve always bought my phone outright and had a sim only deal.

But I’ve been on the Apple upgrade programme for the last 2 iPhones, and I’m due to upgrade, just checked the price and it’s £61.40 a month after the £69 upfront charge, up from £53 a month last year.

I have a sim only contract with Three for £20 month unlimited everything, so it’s getting a bit steep now paying these prices.

Options are

Staying in the upgrade programme
Give the phone back and take out a contract (would have to cancel the sim only contract, doable cz my coverage has dropped off a cliff for the past few months)
Buy a phone outright

Anyone in a similar situation?

Just got the 14 pro max 256gb for £42 a month, 36 month contract on sky(o2).
Had the 3 unlimited sim for £18 but had to leave due to the lack of coverage everywhere! Now have a £12sim with 15gb I think
Was excepting to wait 3 weeks to get the phone and it turned up in 2 days 👌🏽

I ended up buying a phone (Note 10 Pro for £140 new) and a sim-only deal (30GB, unlimited texts/calls for £8/month).
