Someone at work is being annoying, moving things around the store, pretending it's not him. He does it when I'm not there.

I need a battery operated camera with a timer record function. It must record to itself (memory card or HD) for 30 mins at 05:45hrs and 30 mins at 17:45hrs. Not motion sensing as I need to catch a light being switched on and off.

I've had a look at the Ceyomur CY50, but it doesn't have the timer record function.

You can schedule Blink cameras to arm/disarm at specific times. I know you didn't want motion activated but if stuff is being moved around, motion activated would surely pick that up?

There's a TP C200 link one that should do the job - only £24 at the moment and a Which best buy. Records to SD card and has pan and tilt which can be controlled by your smart phone - as can the recording time schedule.

Is it legal to do this without informing people?

The building already has CCTV cameras. So another one wouldn't be illegal. I plan to attach it to pipe on the ceiling.
