I assume that you are not seeing error messages in the device list?
It sounds like the card might be the problem? Assuming it's a separate card and not on the mother board, check that the card is seated properly in it's slot and that the aerial(s) are tight. Have you moved the router/PC recently, is there a new source of interference? All things to investigate.
If this doesn't help, then it might be best just to get a new card - they're relatively cheap... I had to do this last year when the card in my PC started dropping connections for no reason.
