Anyone able to recommend a good power bank for charging devices and iPhones please. Thinking of getting one in Black Friday sales.

No worries, you didn’t give much away in requirements so had to take a guess, Anker are still a good option just choose the size/power/price that fits your needs.

Thanks anywaysmile

Would like to get a couple of charges of my iPhone 12 from it, and perhaps have a remaining power level indicator. I note that some are slower than others at both getting charged and when delivering charge to a phone.

By memory the iPhone 12 has a ~4400mah battery, so a power bank of ~10,000mah will give two & a bit charges.

Just note that if flying I believe you are limited to ~20,000mah in your hand luggage.

I bought an Anker 10,000mAh & was quite surprised at how heavy it is, so maybe consider this before going for the larger ones.

Usually depends on the airline, but the limit can be as low as 10,000mah with quite a few. Thanks largely to Samsung and Apple Mac battery fires.

I have a couple of Anker 20,000 mAh ones that are still doing sterling service nearly 10 years later. Thoroughly recommended!

Anker.

Literally charging an iPhone off XS one and the powerbank hasn't been charged for maybe a year but it's dumped a damned near full charge into the phone in a little over an hour and a bit.

This is a good pocket size, plenty of power as well.

Edit, I've just bought one for the wife as she's always using mine then never giving it back!!!!

Another vote for Anker, I have the 10000 version as above. Over the years it’s powered phones, headphones, go-pro’s in cars, even Xmas lights down the stairs….

Wouldn’t be without mine. Even have a smaller version, basically a 18650 Anker that lives in my gym back just to charge a Garmin fitness watch and earbuds. Brilliant chargers, Anker…

If you want to charge a bunch of devices from phones to USB-C laptops like my MacBook Pro, I use and can recommend this - https://www.hypershop.com/collections/black-friday... - discounted for Black Friday. 27,000 mAh

It can charge your phone and jump start your car
