Hi all. I’m trying to buy a revision book for my son.

There seems to be 2 options. AQA or OCR. He doesn’t know which one he’s doing.

He says he has 2 lessons a week. One on theory and one on programming. It’s the theory he’s struggling with so I thought I’d get him a revision book.

Don’t suppose anyone on here knows?

The best thing you can do is speak to your son’s school or teacher and they will tell you exactly which course he is following. Failing that, check the school’s website as they may have the course details on there. If you are lucky, the school may have a copy of the preferred revision guide that they will sell you.

Yep as above. What I would say is my daughter did the subject but was good at theory crap at programming.

She came out with a pretty decent grade by knowing some very basics on programming and good knowledge on the theory.

Turns out on the school website it’s edexcel exam board so neither of the first 2!

He’s good at the programming and bad at the theory so I’ll get a couple of books off Amazon and see how he gets on.

Thanks for all your help guys

Don’t forget BBC Bitesize, the content is pretty good and aligned by exam boards.
