I chair MS Teams meetings for a voluntary group and we'd like to have transcripts of our conversations for accuracy when writing the minutes.

We have no funds for expensive licences and only meet once a month. Any suggestions?

Are you using any sort of licenced product, or relying on personal Teams? Recording and transcription is available at E1/F1 type levels, so not that expensive, especially when compared to the time cost of someone with a dictaphone, and a rewind button biggrin

There should be an option for switching on transcribing when you are in the meeting. Though you do need the correct licence as per the below

If you don't have the correct licence let me know depending on the nature of the volunteer group I *might* be able to help.

It looks like Microsoft 365 Business Basic at £4.50 + VAT will do what I want - and a lot that I don't want.

At the moment I'm trying to find out whether the organisation we volunteer for will let us have access via their corporate Teams licence but thanks for the advice / offer, I may be back.
