I`m looking for recommendations on a new headset for the Xbox Series X.
I currently have a pair of 10 year old wired Turtle Beach that are way past their best.

Budget is up to £150, there`s so many options out there it`s hard to come to a conclusion.

Ideally wireless bit would consider wired.

My main requirements are sound quality and comfort.

Also they must work on the TV too so not just Xbox specific.

Thanks.

What connectivity does your TV support may be the limiting factor. A lot don’t support Bluetooth.

From a brand perspective Turtle Beach are still an excellent brand, I’ve had their headsets for years and never been disappointed.

Currently using a Recon 500 and it’s excellent.

I'm using the official one, seems to do the job pretty well, sounds good and the ability to have it paired to my phone at the same time and adjust the relative volume of each is surprisingly handy. If I have one criticism it's that because the main body of the cans are the volume controls it's stupidly easy to accidentally twist them when taking the headset on or off and thus mess with your volume levels.

I've been using this for the last 2 years. Amazing bit of kit. Recommended to friends and they all think it is worth the money. Slightly out of budget though. I use it on my phone, laptop, xbox and work laptop as well

I have a set of Turtle Beach XP500s.

I connect them to the TV using TV Optical Out so they work with all sources.

Highly configurable, but I've never played with that side ... I find them very comfortable.

I use this one also, great bit of kit and the sound quality is awesome.

I have the x box ones also, for the price they're pretty decent but not as comfy as the arctis , not quite as good sound quality either. They are half the cost though!

I managed to call in to a Currys today, limited stock but there were a few sets to try out.

The Recon 500s were comfy, more comfortable than the more expensive offers from Turtle beach.

I`ve checked and my LG TV does support bluetooth.

I tried these out today too, comfy with excellent sound.
A bit of shopping around and the can be found within budget.

Black Friday soon so there might be more savings to be had.

So far the Artics 7x are at the top of the list.

I also tried Corsair HS75, comfortable but the Steelseries seem better quality.
