Pixel 7 or s22?

There isn't much in these two. I can get 10% off at Currys and Samsung are offering £150 trade in on any phone. So both work out to £543 and £540.
Any thoughts from anyone who has either of these.
It's for my wife who is more interested in the camera quality.

S22 is sometimes available for £450 with trade in direct at samsung if you have access to EPP store (any student, NHS worker etc)
I would think that the 7 has the better camera for photos, S22 for video. I personally have an S22 ultra which I think trades blows with 7 Pro

Size may come into it perhaps? The standard S22 is a much handier size for physical handling. The 7 being that bit larger.

But everyday usability and handy features are where the 7 wins out over the S22 (the user experience/software).
