Hi chaps,

Just purchased a new PC with win 11 on it. Now looking for some suggestions for backup software.
I used to have a program called memeo autobackup on the old PC, which used to copy files to my NAS from a specific location when I added them.

I need a program which backs up on a file by file basis as the TV uses the NAS ad a media player. Happy to pay, but rather better is free. For some reason win backup etc, on Windows 11, doesn't like my NAS and won't let me select that as the backup device. This means the inbuilt versions are out....unless I am doing to wrong.

Any suggestions?

Win11 backup wants to see drive as a local mount
Not a network share

Create a iScsi target on the nas, and use win11 as the iScsi initiator
Then the LUN can be mounted onto windows and backup software can then use it

Thanks. Not quite sure how to do that, but certainly can look into it

Thanks for the above guys. Sadly it looks like my NAS can't do iScsi and macrum reflect file back up is only on the laid for version. Unless anyone else has any ideas, paid for it is.
