Hi,
Has anyone successfully replaced back cover on hp envy 13 laptop?
My screen works, but laptop cannot be closed as the frame holding the screen has completely failed.
I read it is relatively common issue, but my local repair shop doesn't want to take the response as the cost of touch screen is too high.
I watched the YouTube guide. Wonder if anyone has got any advise before I get to work.

If anyone needs advise in the future regarding this laptop let me know. I fixed it and so far it works well. Screen and hinge as it was originally.
Failure was down to screws which hold screen hinges to the back panel. The screws housing broke on 4 out of 6 screws.
