Which TV/casting dongle?

I've had a chromecast 1 dongle for a few years and have managed to break the hdmi plug on it, so do I replace it? It dosn't get used much now, but I things have moved on a bit. I already have virgin media cable with netflix. So what recommendations for a replacement and what features will it have ?

I've got/had Amazon Firesticks/Boxes and also now have the new Google Chromecast with Google TV (4k version)

I'd recommend the Google version.

Roku is worth a look to see if they have an app to cover whatever you're looking for.
