A bit of a guess but:

Dedicated backhaul: the selected frequency will only carry traffic between the nodes & devices won't be able to connect to it.
Backhaul & fronthaul: carries the internode traffic & devices can connect to that frequency as well.

It's asking if you want to dedicate that WiFi frequency to mesh node -> mesh node communication (meaning none of your devices can connect to it), or to also use it for your devices to connect to.

On some mesh Wifi systems, for example my Eero, it's got a dedicated wireless radio just for shuffling traffic around the mesh .... on yours it is obviously a choice you get to make, which will have some performance trade-offs either good or bad. I'd dedicate it to backhaul TBH, but someone who knows the actual system (as Mr Pointy "points" out biggrin ) might give you better, more specific advice

Nothing in the manual about it so unless you have hundreds of clients connecting to it I’d go with the dedicated backhaul.
