Hi, was wondering how the collective parents of younger children deal with the pressures of social media. My son shows zero interest, but my daughter who is almost 12 is starting to put me under pressure to let her have a TikTok and Instagram account.

I've resisted so far as I think she's too young but I feel I'm just holding back the inevitable as apparently "All her friends are on it!" and I keep wondering if I'm just out of touch.....did you let your kids of a similar age use these platforms? If so was it a pandora's box?

Would appreciate other's views and experiences on this.
