Odd WiFi problem- is there an easy/obvious fix?
Discussion
Do a n. s. lookup (remove the . & spaces- you get a 403 forbidden error on this forum without them) up a failing url, if it resolves okay it’s likely a routing issue with your isp, you could try a traceroute to the failing url to see at what point the packets drop.
If it didn’t resolve try a alternate dns server in your routers setup

Morning all,
Our wifi is letting our wireless devices connect to Google and The Guardian, but nothing else (at least, no other websites that I have tried so far).
Any ideas? I’ve tried unplugging/waiting a few minutes/restarting the router, but no joy.
Thanks in advance.
Sounds like a DNS issue or a local browswer issueOur wifi is letting our wireless devices connect to Google and The Guardian, but nothing else (at least, no other websites that I have tried so far).

Is it occuring to all devices? Or just one
Can you use command
"ping www.pistonheads.com"
You should get a response from an IP address. If you do, try browsing to the IP address
If not then you have a DNS issue.
Pinging pistonheads.com [108.156.46.8] with 32 bytes of data:
