Sound cancelling headphones
Discussion
I'm looking for some bluetooth sound cancelling headphones so I don't get shouted at when watching YouTube in bed. I want the over the ear ones.
Don't want to pay more than £50 really as I'll properly end up stepping on them when getting out of bed when half asleep.
Am I best with sticking with a known brand? Sony for example at that price?

When you say sound cancelling, do you mean noise cancelling?
Noise cancelling neutralises external noise by playing a sort of white noise to counter it - I have found expensive Sony and Bose are good at this, even my Airpod Pros are pretty capable, but cheaper ones less so - Perhaps they have moved on.
If you're more concerned about sound escaping and waking up your other half, then go for over ear, rather than on ear.
I use Bose QC35 II for my over ear, and some cheap anker soundbuds for in ear as sometimes the big ones are a bit too chunky if sat in bed etc. Anker products are fantastic for their price point, i have chargers, several sets of headphones, portable speakers etc - all have been excellent quality.
I keep my Airpod pros for my iPhone/iMac

Whoops yep noise cancelling! Shes a bit of a snorer as well (hence why I have the TV loud...)
In that case, at the price point, i would give these a go: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Soundcore-Bluetooth-Headp...
Like I said, I and friends on my recommendation have had tons of anker products and all have been fantastic quality for the price.
Do note though, if you're like me, you'll end up breathing heavily with them on haha
