Having got a new phone that doesn't have a headphone jack, I could do with some Bluetooth ear buds too replace the cheapo wired ear buds that lived in my bag for listening to a podcast on the train or the odd museum guide.

Not after top of the range sound and want something small to save lugging my big Bose headphones around.

Samsung buds live or JBL wave 300 look to be semi sensible price, any other recommendations to look at?

I lost my old set and needed another at short notice.
Took a chance with these....

https://www.amazon.co.uk/TOZO-Bluetooth-Wireless-H...

and was pleasantly suprised. Really good sound and thumping bass (Just make sure to fit the suitable rubber bits for your ears)

The Ear Fun Air wireless buds are incredible value and produce a great sound. Consistently they rate very highly in reviews and are not expensive either.

They are regularly on offer for £50. I rate them highly too.

I'd advise buying a box of foam buds. They don't last too long before they harden and get stuck in the battery cradle.

I upgraded to a Galaxy S22 Ultra and thought I'd need Bluetooth headphones (which I got & lost a week later FFS!!). I got a cable off ebay for £3 that plugs into the USB C socket and gives me a 3.5mm jack, works a charm smile

I did wonder about that as an alternative, already have a cable in the car for the Mrs phone. You can also get headphones with a USB-C instead of an audio jack. Quite like the idea of wireless for convenience though.

Yeah they are better (until you go out on the piss & lose them!). I will get a new pair as I usually use them for running. Next pub walk home music will be via wired headphones!!!

I've got a pair of Trekz bone conducting ones for running, which are great but not so good at trying to listen to a podcast a noisy environment biggrin

Agree with this; I got a set to replace my dead Sony wireless buds and for a fraction of the price I wasn't expecting much, but have been very impressed with them. TW200 model fwiw.

For some thread closure...

I went with SoundPEATS TrueAir2+ in the end as I decided I didn't want sound isolating silicon/foam tips. For €50 the sound's really good and the case is so small it took me 5 minutes to find it this morning! Wireless charging's a bonus but they'll supposedly do 25 hours on a charged case.

So now I have basic samsung wired buds, Sure E2 wired buds, senheisser CXsomethingorother ear buds, Plantronics Redwire headset, Aftershokz Trekz Air bone conduction headset, Bose Quiet Comfort 25, Bose quiet comfort 35ii, and the SoundPEATS. Maybe I have a problem biggrin

Appreciate OP is sorted but if are happy with white these are IMHO a very good buy - still worth the money for the black pair too if you prefer that colour.
