My year with a 13 Pro Max has proven the old saying the best camera is the one you have on you ! Very much looking forward to a decent zoom on the 15 with a half decent return on my 13 shouldn't be that painful.

I am looking froward to see reviews of the 14's camera. It looks like a fairly solid upgrade over the 13 Pro. Be good if the 15 had periscope, but maybe a bit soon? Dunno.

I went for the 14Pro for this reason and it arrives Friday. If the 15 is some amazeing upgrade to photographic capabilities then I will trade the 14.

The larger sensor is a solid upgrade on the 14 mind you I had a 6 ! I cant see how Apple can get away with another year without the increased optical zoom ...

Mind you it is Apple ...

The rumours are that the iPhone 15 will feature a "periscope" optical zoom system. And USB-C, of course.

The camera zoom is one of the reasons I’m reluctant to upgrade my XS. The zoom on mine is better than even the 14. I’d have to go for the pro to compete or better. Considering mines approx 4 yrs old seems strange that the zoom is better.

I read the article a couple of times. It says nothing. Zero. Zilch. A total non article.
A 10 year old could have knocked it up in 10 minutes. Probably better.

I can’t see any real reason to upgrade my 13PM to a series 14 … however that being said the 14 is what would have been the old “S” year so that’s not a shock.

I do fancy a AW Ultra though but will wait till I’m in the US in a few weeks time and have a look in person.

I’ve been looking at android options lately which I don’t know how that would fit will a fully Apple house (Apple TV’s / macs / iPads / etc.)
