Since upgrading to android 13 my fingerprint scanner has stopped working. Does anyone else have this problem. I've tried deleting fingerprint and resetting a new one but I just get the message 'fingerprint scanner couldn't processing. Please try later'.

My Pixel 6a is on Android 12. Sometimes my fingerprint scanner just stops showing up across all my apps. Usually, a reboot fixes this for me.

Reboot it, if that doesn't work then hold the power button down for circa 20 seconds until it shuts down then restart - if still not working then you'll need to back up a factory reset (it's what Google support will ask you to do) if that fails to sort it then it's replacement phone time.

Pretty sure Google has released a fix for this in the last few days. Check to see if there is a software update.
