Truespeed Broadband
Discussion
I'm close to signing up with Truespeed, and finally moving away from Virgin.
I read that Truespeed provide a router but seem to manage it quite closely (i.e. you have to phone them up to get the wifi password changed!). I assumed that I would just be able to place their router into pass-through mode and connect to my own router, but it doesn't look like this is possible without a bunch of nause.
Is anybody here a Truespeed customer and can advise?

Not a user of Truespeed but see here:

Edited to add, I wouldn't personally touch these with someone else's router. Are Zen in your area - completely open, yes you get a Friztbox but don't need to use it, and you are at liberty to sell it if you wish.

Thanks, I clicked through the ISPreview link to a Reddit thread, and it looks like on request they will make a DMZ change enabling pass-through and there's a physical wifi on/off switch on their router so I'm slightly happier. It looks like they tie down the router to protect their phone service...https://www.truespeed.com/faqs/can-i-use-my-own-ro...

The worst case scenario is that I use them as a stalking horse to get my Virgin price down
