Stop endless print job

My HP has nothing in the queue, but printing a job that's been sent to print with MANY copies. Pulled AC out but as soon as pwer back, off it goes again. HELP how do I stop it!!!

You need to go into printer settings on your computer and cancel the job.

No they are all the spooler service if you have restarted the PC then it's not that.
Often once it's left the windows spooler it will be seen on the control panel of the printer but if not hammer time!

I had this very nightmare with some old school HP laserjet 1022N - network printers.
When the compoany went over to Windows 7 theer were issues with the printers printing pages repeatedly would have gone through a whole tray fill etc.

I had to suspend the network printing option for a day or so.
At the time the solution was to uninstall the printer and then reinstall it but use an older ass in ancient HP Laerjet 6L driver
It worked. It also worked when the upgrades to 10 were performed and its even fine on Win 11.
I have NO idea why it works with such an old driver. But the printers give good results and the cartridges are so cheap to get,

Solution here was to remove the Printer from Windows when it was powered down, power up and re-install
Thank **** for that, was starting to cost a small fortune in Toner and paper.
