Cannot hear me...

Sorry, away from home and suddenly, I can hear the person at the other end of the line but they can't hear me.
Sometimes ok for a few seconds then dead
Have I messed the settings or is the phone knackered.

May not be your problem, but I'm sick of accidentally muting calls with my ear

My guess is the call has started off on wifi calling. when you leave the house you drop off the wifi network and given that wifi calling can't roam onto a mobile network, the call has a slow death.

No setting would cause intermittent no speech

Have you enabled wifi calling? ISTR having problems like that, so I generally disable it.
