Massive increase in spam messages. With a twist…

Like most people, my personal email address receives lots of spam, which mostly gets tagged by my email host. Annoying, but not a massive problem.
Recently though I’ve seen a huge increase in spam getting into my Inbox, anything from 50-100 daily. There seems to be a new method of sending that doesn’t show the sender’s email address, and it all seems to get through.
As an example, I seem to have won multiple Teslas, Golfs and Ryanair tickets, and all of the emails have a ‘from’ name something like ‘Congratulations >>>’ but no underlying email address.
My Spam Assassin is set to 4, which hasn’t changed.
Any ideas how to tame it? Makes the few useful emails increasing difficult to spot!
