Hikvision camera and iPad always on live view

Is it possible to use iPads for live viewing of Hikvision cameras?
Or anything similar?
Ideally we want a couple around the property, perhaps fixed to the wall like an alarm panel would be to provide live viewing. Touch Screen preferable.
Ipads are convenient as easy to obtain and replace and add to etc.

Can't see why not, if there's an app etc.
I have a cheapo one with an android app and I've a FireHD tablet displaying live weather 24/7 so video would be the same.
I guess there's going to be some implications on either wifi or network infrastructure etc.
Do you need web access or would a cheapo wired system be easier on the bandwidth??
