What is the best day to get new customer Virgin Media Broadband Deals?

Moneysupermarket seems to have better deals than going direct.

Are there any other cheaper routes?

I found that clicking through QuidCo showed a more expensive cost that clicking through via MoneySavingExpert (even when taking into account the cashback)

Just had Virgin installed in our street (Full FTTH)

They called today and offered Gig1 fibre, 10GB O2 SIM (Which I won't use) for £47/month, free setup and installation - 18 month contract. I had to take the SIM to get this deal but have no need for it. Still works out cheaper than broadband only though.
