Hi all,

Is there a difference between a sim I put in my phone, and a sim I put in a mobile device, to give our house internet ?
Like a mobile router thing.

Do I just buy a normal sim, and pop it into the mobile router, or do I have to specify a data only sim ?

Thanks

We have a router that takes a normal sim. We have unlimited everything with EE and run the house on it. Works much quicker than the wired options from BT.

I have a Talkmobile 100Gb £10 / month sim in my mobile router.

It’s just a regular mobile sim. From memory I just had to enter the APN into the router settings.

Thank you all for great replies.
I am in an area where only Voda give a good signal.
However I understand Labara also run off the Voda network.
Are Lebara any good ?

This is where I am thinking.
I have a new mobile router already, and my Voda broadband is crazy pricing now.

Lebara are just as good as Vodafone in my experience, they do run on Vodafone's network. I have a PAYG sim in my name which my daughter uses and she never has any issues, she would be quick to tell me if it didn't work!
