Firestick - black screen?!

Only a few months old, working fine until Tue this week and now I can only get a black screen. Tried turning it off at the plug + moving it from one port to another.

Common issue? Any ideas how to fix it?

If all else fails I will return it I guess as not yet 12m old.

Is it being recognised by the TV? Does the sound still work?

You might be able to try a factory reset if you can find the button sequence to get to it blind.

I'd just return it. They're built down to a price point and Amazon are used to returns.

My first Fire TV Stick failed within 2 hours of setup. It's replacement has been working a few years now though, thankfully.
