Urgent macOS update

Update now, urgent, critical, you're screwed if you don't.

Great I'll just install those.

Except my MacBook running 12.5 insists there is no update.

What am I missing here (except the update)?

Two hours ago mine said the same. Now it offers me 12.5.1. Keep checking I guess?

The latest version of macOS Monterey is 12.5.1, which includes the security update mentioned in the press. You Mac mat have updated automatically.

Apple always does staggered rollouts, to avoid overwhelming their servers.

Depending on the size of the update, and the number of machines affected, it can take up to a week for it to organically appear in your notifications/system preferences pane.

I'm one of the lucky ones...but I've got about 7 devices to check now (iMac, Mac Mini, Mac Studio, Studio Display, iPads, iPhones). Luckily my 2014 iMac and 2008 MacPro don't get updates any more!

iPhone updated to 15.6.1 today

My Macbook Pro is on Big Sur which is downloading at the moment, Big Sur is the latest that I can have on a mid-2014 model.

There is however a related update to Safari you should make sure you have.

iPhone done.

MacBook sits there repeatedly saying no update available.

But yeah critical urgent do it now you're at risk if you don't.
