Just purchased a key cutting machine off Ebay.It is faulty on arrival to me.He assures me it was ok before sending it and says he has a video he took on the day he sent it off,of it functioning properly.
After watching the video even just by observing the amount of key cutting shavings in the machines tray,on which there are magnets which attract metal filings in the corners,i could see the amount and the patterns of filings on the magnets looked different from when it arrived to me(he hadn't cleaned machine when it got to me)
Now,i then started to think of checking out the date he made his 'proof' video,i checked it in a video editor and the creation date was all zeros!??
Are all videos, pics on a phone automatically time stamped in the data, and if so is the fact his video create date is all zeros proof he has wiped it off? Thanks!

Depends on what device it was made on and using what software. The metadata is written by the software, some don't write it at all, especially for videos.
