I've got 3 work emails, a personal email, android phone and windows laptop.

But I just cannot get an email client that works with all of them properly.

I've tried Outlook, but the andorid app is gash, and adding extra accounts on the windows/web outlook doesn't transfer them to outlook on android so what's the point

Gmail is hopeless and loses connection to accounts on a regular basis and wont accept passwords / account names again without deleting and restarting.

Yahoo was similar to these

Samsung email on the phone does a good job of collating multiple accounts, but lacks the ability to have inbox rules eg "mark as read and move to folder Y if subject = abc" and doesn't have a windows equivalent, which makes responding to some emails a tad awkward when its longer than a couple of lines or needs a number of attachments.

What I'm after is something that will accept multiple accounts from a number of sources (gmail, yahoo, mail servers for my domains ) which works on android and windows (chrome) and has inbox rules. Its complicated a bit more by the fact that I cannot find the log-in / mail server details for the account I have on Outlook, which was originally set up about 20 years ago and links to one of my domains (oops).

Any ideas???

I get this isn't really helpful, but I have my GMail set up to pull mail from three separate POP3 accounts and it works just lovely. Definitely never had to re-enter account details. Plus of course I can then access it from anywhere. You can even choose which account to use to send from. Works really well for me.

Another gmail fan here. I have 3 accounts set up, including one that pulls email from another account. All works fine.

Lol another gripe about Gmail is how long it takes to get new mail - it decides, not you. Very annoying. 🤣

Agreed that is annoying. Although you can force it to check for new mail from the web interface (not the app though, so far as I am aware).

I use Thunderbird on Windows for exactly this.

On Android I use Bluemail.

Both work faultlessly for me with 5 different accounts.

Gmail and use of imap manages 3 accounts for me, plus my wife's, and my in laws.

Never had any sync problems, other than when accessing via the MS windows mail app, but I can live with that to avoid having to use outlook or any other servers or clients

been using gmail for multiple email accounts for years, often had 3 pop accounts imported to gmail, along side my 4 gmail accounts. I use this on phones and tablets.

These days I use Rambox on the PC as it does everything and never misses a beat. https://rambox.app/

Another vote for Thunderbird. I use it for gmail and outlook.com accounts. Free and very easy to setup.

I've been using Aqua Mail Pro for years on Android - works perfectly and supports many many options that you may find useful

Finally got it sorted after an hour on chat with Microsoft Support. Back to using Outlook on phone and laptop, phew!
